Voice of People
I organized support initiatives for marginalized groups at TCIS and led awareness campaigns on LGBTQ+ rights, mental health, and sexual harassment. I worked with the administration to introduce LGBTQ+ education and displayed LGBTQ+ flags in classrooms. I also started peer counseling for identity struggles and fundraised for LGBTQ+ organizations. My efforts earned me membership in Rainbow Action, South Korea's largest LGBTQ NGO Union.
Chingusai LGBTQ Right NGO
I reached out to LGBTQ human rights NGOs for internship opportunities and interned with Chingusai, South Korea's oldest LGBTQ rights organization. I helped organize LGBTQ Pride events and suicide prevention campaigns for Chingusai’s 30th anniversary and initiated picketing to raise awareness about marriage inequality and societal issues faced by the LGBTQ community.
Pride EXPO
I volunteered at Asia’s largest LGBTQ art exhibition, leading guided tours and providing commentary on LGBTQ art and culture. The experience of seeing how art uniquely expresses diverse identities deeply inspired me and solidified my decision to major in Art.
